Nate Hobbs may be among the newest members of the Green Bay Packers but he is on the same page as everyone – that this season is the time for them to level it up.

The team has made it to the playoffs in the last two seasons and they are putting pressure on themselves to go further. Hobbs thinks that is the standard for them and not winning a Super Bowl since the 2010 season is not ideal for an organization like the Packers.
“I feel like it’s been too long,” Hobbs said during the second of training camp.
“2010 and a big old gap, you know what I’m saying? That’s not good enough. That’s not the standard, that’s not the Green Bay standard. If you come here to just work and get better yourself, you’re wrong. There’s no point in coming here.”

Hobbs is not the only one who feels that way. His quarterback Jordan Love said they are ready to take things to the next level.
“It’s definitely time. We’re primed to take that next step,” he told reporters on Wednesday.
Nate Hobbs on Green Bay Packers’ new look defense
Defense is one of the key areas the team needs to get to that next level and for Hobbs, he believes they are ready for the challenge as a crew after just a few training together.
“The rest of the defense, I think I’m running around with a pack of dogs,” he said.
“We run through the ball. We try to get to the ball – belt to ass. B.T.A.”

The cornerback signed with the Packers on March for a four-year, $48 million contract and is expected to be featured prominently in the squad, especially now that Jaire Alexander is gone.
