The Green Bay Packers could take their offense to the next level with a few minor improvements this off-season. The second half of the 2023 season saw the Packers’ offense play as good as anyone in the league. Jordan Love started clicking with is young weapons and they started lighting defenses up week in and week out.
Unfortunately, star wide receiver missed a lot of that action with a hamstring injury. After the first OTA practice of 2024, LaFleur had something to announce about Watson.

It is clear that Watson not only is looking 100%, but LaFleur is ecstatic for his leadership role in 2024.
Christian Watson Will Look For A Big 2024 Season
Watson isn’t underperforming. In 23 games, he’s scored 14 touchdowns. That’s more than any six receivers picked before him in the 2022 draft. But the kicker there is 23 games. A total of 23 games out of 36 possible. Watson has missed 13 games due to injuries in his career. Over the course of his two-year career, Christian Watson has missed almost an entire season.
Following the 2023 season, Christian Watson and cornerback Eric Stokes went to see a hamstring specialist at UW-Madison to determine the cause of their nagging injuries. As a side note, the Packers have since hired Aaron Hill to replace Chris Gizzi as strength and conditioning coach. In other words, it appears that measures are being taken to get Christian Watson back to 100% for the entire season.
Watson has proved to be the type of weapon that can completely change the outcome of a game, and maybe even season.
Getting him back at full strength will be huge for this offense.
