Earlier this NFL postseason, the Green Bay Packers faced the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in the wild-card round before being eliminated. The Packers finished with an 11-7 record this season and they hope to make it further in the playoffs next season.
For the second time in three seasons, it will be the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. A lot of Green Bay Packers fans and other NFL fans are not thrilled that this is the matchup. There have been more questions asked by people about who will watch the Super Bowl this year and who will not watch it.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Kurt Benkert Makes Crazy Statement Ahead Of Super Bowl
Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert went back onto his Twitter page to discuss the Super Bowl once again between the Chiefs and the Eagles. Benkert said in one of his posts on Tuesday by saying:
“I’ve decided I’m rooting for the Chiefs to 3-peat. You already can’t tell Chiefs fans anything, so might as well let them have another one. Meanwhile, if Philly wins, God help us all.”
These are some interesting comments from Benkert. With the Green Bay Packers facing the Eagles more often than the Chiefs, it could be reasonable why Kurt Benkert said this. The Philadelphia Eagles fanbase could be obnoxious at times. As for the Kansas City Chiefs, there are a lot of people who don’t want to see Patrick Mahomes win another Super Bowl and they are now viewed as the evil empire in the NFL.

It’s kinda crazy that between the two fanbases, the ones with back to back Super Bowl wins are more likeable than the ones who haven’t won since 2018.

This will probably not be the last time Kurt Benkert comments about the Super Bowl. It will be interesting to see what happens when the big game comes.
