“I mean, he’s an animal out there,” LaFleur said, per the Associated Press (h/t The Score). “Very few times do I feel like when we give him the ball, he doesn’t make the first guy miss.”

Against the Saints, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star tailback had 69 rushing yards and at touchdown on 13 carries. He could have done more in that game, but his workload was scaled back due to the blowout nature of the contest. So far in the 2024 NFL regular season, the 26-year-old Jacobs has 1,216 rushing yards (fourth in the league) and 13 touchdowns (tied for fourth) on 278 carries.
With Jacobs doing the heavy lifting on the ground for Green Bay, the Packers are ranked fourth in the NFL overall through 17 weeks with 147.3 rushing yards per outing.
Jacobs could add more to his season totals this Sunday when the Packers square off against the Minnesota Vikings on the road.
