It’s been over a year since Josh Jacobs decided to take his talents to the Green Bay Packers, signing a four-year contract worth $48 million with the team in March of 2024. He proved himself to the Packers right away, as he put together a strong performance in his first season with Green Bay. On Saturday, Jacobs also reflected on a full-circle moment of sorts, as he was about to participate in his second Packers Family Night.
In a social media post via Instagram Stories, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star running back shared a photo of himself standing on the surface of Lambeau Field. “IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN,” Jacobs captioned the post along with eyes emojis.

Jacobs sounds off on joining the Green Bay Packers a year later after signing with the team

Before arriving in Green Bay, Jacobs spent five seasons with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. After one season in Packers threads, the 27-year-old Jacobs is happy with where he opted to play next following all those years with the Raiders franchise.
“My biggest takeaway is I think that where I’m at as a player is definitely different,” Jacobs said via Eric Bauer, of SeehaferNews.com. “Just to be able to come in healthy, feeling good, and to be able to lead a group of young guys.”
In 2024, Jacobs returned to Pro Bowl form, racking up 1,329 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 301 carries and 17 games. He added 342 receiving yards and a touchdown on 36 receptions and 43 targets.
