This offseason, the Green Bay Packers are going to be exploring the market for a pass rusher. Rashan Gary led the team in sacks with 7.5 sacks last season.
No one on the team had 10 sacks and Green Bay needs to improve in that category if they are going to want to take that next step. The Packers will need to find defensive line help this offseason either through trades, free agency, or the draft. One player to keep an eye on is Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.
Myles Garrett Requests Trade From the Cleveland Browns

It is crazy that he has requested a trade, but it felt inevitable it was going to happen. The Cleveland Browns finished with a 3-14 record this season and will have the number two overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Garrett will have two years remaining on his contract, according to Spotrac.
This past season with the Browns, he recorded 47 tackles, 14 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one pass deflection. Myles Garrett is 29 years old and also won the AP Defensive Player Of the Year Award a season ago.

I want Myles Garrett, Maxx Crosby and Tee Higgins. Is that so much to ask from the Packers?

I want you to be happy. I want you to change. For Caleb’s sake. But Myles Garrett isn’t trying to be traded to a non contender trying to become a contender. He wants to win Super Bowls. That boils down to Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, Lions, Texans and even the Commanders before Chicago

Myles Garrett is the exact type of player the Packers could be willing to make a monster move for 🔗👇

It would be interesting to see what team he would be traded to if it isn’t the Packers. General manager Brian Gutekunst should do everything he can to try and acquire the Cleveland Browns star player. Gutekunst needs to take another swing for the fence and it would be intriguing to see how many first-round picks he would have to give up for him. There is no doubt that there is going to be a bidding war with other teams for the star pass rusher as well.
