Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson did not have a very good game in a 23-19 loss on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He only caught two passes for 23 yards receiving. Love has a very interesting stat when targeting Watson this season.
Jordan Love threw two interceptions on Sunday when targeting Christian Watson. Love has thrown five of his 10 interceptions this season when targeting him, which is very interesting. This goes to show that there is no chemistry anywhere at all between the two.
Jordan Love has no issues throwing to Dontayvion Wicks, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs. Let’s be real about Watson. He’s the fourth-best receiver on the roster this year and needs to be moving forward. Watson does have 14 catches for 236 yards receiving and only one touchdown this year. He is averaging 16.9 yards per catch.
When Love targets anyone not named Watson, he has thrown for 13 touchdowns and one interception compared to one touchdown and five interceptions. It is obvious that Jordan Love is not the problem despite having slow starts this season, and he didn’t have a slow start on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
When he threw an interception in the fourth quarter, well, two of them, a lot of Packers fans were furious about Watson.

Watson also told reporters after the game about his performance:
” Close isn’t close enough. It’s definitely tough, but there’s nothing we can do about it after it’s already happened, so just gotta find a way to build and grow from it.”
There is no one in this fanbase that wants to hear it from him. Watson’s role in the Packers offense should be reduced immediately and they are now 3-6 on the year after the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers 6-3.
