Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks missed most of the game on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals with a shoulder injury. Wicks has played a role in the Packers offense this season. He has stepped up when other players have been hurt and other players stepped up when he got hurt.
The Packers will be facing the Houston Texans at home this weekend. Wicks is hoping he could be available for the game against Houston.
Dontayvion Wicks Practices On Wednesday For the Green Bay Packers
On Wednesday, Dontayvion Wicks was able to practice for the Packers with a shoulder injury. This is good news for him for his availability on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Hopefully, he will not have a setback on Thursday. If Wicks can practice then, he will be on track to play this weekend against Houston.
Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson Stepped Up On Sunday
When Wicks got hurt on Sunday for Green Bay, Romeo Doubs scored two touchdowns and Christian Watson also scored a touchdown. It was important for Doubs to get into the endzone because he had a one-game suspension against the Los Angeles Rams.
If Wicks can’t play this weekend, Doubs, Watson, and Jayden Reed will be able to have Wicks’s back. Green Bay’s offense is at its peak when all four wide receivers are healthy and on the field.
