The Green Bay Packers have a bright future. The young core of weapons they’ve built around Jordan Love is nothing short of exciting. The excitement is there and the league is taking notice.
Some NFL legends are taking notice as well. One of those legends is Chad Johnson.
NFL Legend Chad Johnson Rips Into Fans Who Think Green Bay Packers Wide Receivers Don’t Have Talent
Chad Johnson knows a thing or two about NFL receiver play as a six-time Pro Bowler with seven 1,000-yard seasons.
On X, he praised the Packers’ receivers, in general, and Jayden Reed in particular. PFF released their top five NFC Receiving Corps going into next season:

In response, Johnson thought the Packers were left out:
He also followed up with a NSFW Tweet about Jayden Reed:
Jayden Reed b**ch, learn the f***ing name now got d**n casual fans
When a fan said the Packers don’t have a single proven wide receiver, Johnson responded to that as well:
Did you watch f***ing football last year, the Packers entire receiving corp is the s**t, Watson, Doubs, Wicks & Melton are proven tf are you talking about
Clearly Johnson is passionately high on this young Packers receiving corps. The last time he was this passionate about a Packers wide receiver, it was Davante Adams.
Last season, Reed led the Packers in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and total touchdowns as a second-round pick.
“He is a dog. He’s a war daddy,” coach Matt LaFleur famously said after Reed had 92 total yards and a touchdown in the win over the Chargers. “He goes out there and he’s such a competitor. Got a lot of confidence in him. He continues to make big-time plays.”
