The Green Bay Packers seem to have nearly every piece in place for their offense for the foreseeable future. By the end of the 2023 season the NFL world had the pleasure of witnessing what that offense is capable of, even against some of the best defenses in the NFC.
While there may not be many tweaks to make, there could be one that would be significant for the offense.
The Green Bay Packers Show Interest In Massive Running Back For 2024
According to Packers insider Easton Butler:
The Packers met with Notre Dame RB Audric Estime at the Combine.
Despite his large size, Audric Estimé has excellent footwork and home run speed.
Estimé’s game is based on his size and strength. The 227-pounder excels between the tackles as a runner. At the line of scrimmage, they can run through defensive linemen and bounce off defenders at the second level. Furthermore, he is good at pushing the pile for short yardage and plunging forward for extra yards when tackled.

Estimé is a smart runner as well. He plays with smooth, controlled feet, especially for a bigger back. Additionally, Estimé shows impressive vision. Not only is he a decisive runner, but he excels at reading the leverage of blocks and making quick, smart decisions based on that. Estimé rarely runs himself into trouble or misses an open gap.
The scariest part of Estimé’s game is his long speed. Though he can take a few steps to really get rolling, Estimé has serious home run speed. If he gets the angle on someone at the second or third level, he can absolutely take one all the way. That’s rare for a player his size.
Estimé has some passing-down value as well. He’s a useful receiver in the underneath area with soft hands. Even better, Estimé is a high-energy pass protector with impressive awareness and a quick trigger.
The only drawbacks with Estimé are his quickness and stop/start ability. At times, Estimé can get hung up in traffic behind the line of scrimmage because he doesn’t have the immediate burst to get around it. Estimé also needs a few steps to reach his top speed rather than being someone who can access it instantaneously.
If the Packers were to add Estime, it would likely be a cheaper and younger version of AJ Dillon. While Dillon is a fan favorite in Green Bay, his time with the team may be coming to an end.
