The Green Bay Packers coaching staff is going to look a little different next season. Despite the fact that quarterbacks coach Tom Clements retired and the position has not been filled, Luke Getsy (who was Green Bay’s quarterbacks coach in the two seasons before Clements came out of retirement) was not hired back to the role despite being on staff in 2024.
Instead, Matt LaFleur re-hired him as a senior offensive analyst. Reports state that he could become the offensive coordinator in the event Adam Stenavich leaves for a different team where he can call plays.
Additionally, the Packers fired defensive line coach Jason Rebrovich after Green Bay had one of the worst win rates in the league among pass rushers. He also has not been replaced yet.
And it appears another defensive coach is getting looked at by another team, too.
Green Bay Packers Linebackers Coach Anthony Campanile Interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars Job
Earlier this offseason, Stenavich interviewed for the head coaching position of the Chicago Bears. Of course, he did not get that job. However, he has also interviewed to be the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. Should he be offered that job, Stenavich would likely take it because it would give him the chance to call plays on gameday.
Similarly, defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley interviewed for the New York Jets’ head coaching job. Of course, he did not get that position. It may only be a matter of time before he gets an NFL head coach position, though.
But while Green Bay is keeping their coordinators, they may see one of the most popular coaches on staff depart. Linebackers coach Anthony Campanile was just interviewed by the Jacksonville Jaguars for their open defensive coordinator job:

Campanile helped Edgerrin Cooper become one of the most exciting rookies in the NFL and easily gained many fans himself due to his work with the explosive linebacker.
Green Bay Packers Fans Do Not Want to Lose Anthony Campanile
Needless to say, fans were not thrilled that Campanile could be snagged by another team. They had strong words for the Jaguars when the news broke:
Stop trying to take our defensive coaches!!! https://t.co/bBVOICd3FD

We have a decent defense for one season and the whole league won’t allow it. https://t.co/zJCUcOa39e

Aside from DC Jeff Hafley, Campanile is the only Packers assistant whose departure would bother me. Hopefully, he can stick around for at least another season. https://t.co/TVKgtzB2fh

His #Packers linebackers were pretty darn good this season, especially Edgerrin Cooper … 🥊 https://t.co/tCb51kMYHE

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Jaguars’ defensive coordinator search. Many of the bigger names are already off the board, so the person they end up hiring could be an up-and-comer like Campanile.
