There are quite a few former Green Bay Packers players that are now teammates on the New York Jets. Of course, the main reason for this is Aaron Rodgers, who Green Bay traded to New York for a decent haul of draft picks. In addition to Rodgers, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Billy Turner, and Tim Boyle have signed with New York this offseason. The optimism is high surrounding the Jets this offseason, thanks to the addition of Rodgers especially.
However, Rodgers was taken to the sideline earlier today with an apparent ankle injury. In addition, Lazard was shaken up with an apparent injury during practice.

Allen Lazard Injury History

Lazard has been relatively healthy for the majority of his career. The lone major injury that he suffered occurred in 2020 against the New Orleans Saints. During a career game in which he had 140+ yards receiving, he injured a core muscle and required surgery. He played in 10 out of 16 games that season.
Over the past two years, Lazard has played in 15 out of 17 games. He has suffered smaller injuries that have kept him out of games here and there, but nothing too serious.
Hopefully, for himself and the Jets, this will not be a serious issue.
