A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich was a candidate for the Chicago Bears head coaching job. Of course, he did not receive a job offer from Chicago as the Bears decided to hire former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
However, one Packers Hall of Famer has received a job offer from Chicago, an offer that he has already accepted.
Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer Al Harris Has Joined the Chicago Bears Coaching Staff
According to multiple reports, former Packers cornerback Al Harris, who was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2021, has accepted the job of passing game coordinator and cornerbacks coach with the Bears:

Harris had spent the last five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys on Mike McCarthy’s staff. Last season, he was promoted to assistant head coach while also acting as the defensive backs coach.
Prior to joining his former coach with the Packers in Dallas, Harris was a coaching intern with the Miami Dolphins in 2012. From 2013-2018, he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff.
Of course, he is most remembered for his time as a Pro Bowl cornerback with the Packers, who acquired him via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003. After five solid seasons with the Eagles, Harris spent seven years with Green Bay as one of their starting cornerbacks.
He was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2007, a season that also saw him garner Second Team All-Pro honors. That year, Harris had 37 tackles, two interceptions, and nine passes defended.
The following year, 2008, saw Harris make the Pro Bowl again while recording 25 tackles, no interceptions, and nine passes defended (in 12 games played). 2008 was also the first year in which he failed to play all 16 games in his entire NFL career.
2009 saw him play in only 10 games, though he have two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
The Packers waived him after the 2009 season, and he spent the last two years of his career with the Miami Dolphins and St. Louis Rams.
