Former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones had an admirable night on Monday against the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium. The 30-year-old Jones lit up the hapless Bears for 86 rushing yards and a touchdown on 18 carries to go with 20 receiving yards on two receptions and three targets.
With this rushing touchdown late in the third game of the Bears game, Jones finally joined an exclusive statistical NFL club since the merger in 1966.

Former Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones adds to his football resume
Jones’ touchdown on Monday was the 50th rushing score of his career fifth in the 2024 NFL regular season — his fist with the Vikings. Before joining Minnesota via a one-year deal worth $7 million back in March, Jones played seven seasons with the Packers, including his lone Pro Bowl campaign to date in 2020.
While Jones is having a solid season with the Vikings, the Packers are not necessarily missing him. For one, their own free-agent running back acquisition is having a tremendous year with them, with Josh Jacobs already having racked up 1,147 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 265 carries through 15 weeks of football.
For what it’s worth, Jones and the Vikings will square off one more time with Jacobs and the Packers one more time before the regular season concludes, as Minnesota is scheduled for a Week 17 Lambeau Field visit on Dec. 29.
