With their 27-25 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers clinched the third-place spot in the NFC North. It is really amazing that, at 11-5, the Packers are only in third place in the division. Of course, the 14-2 Vikings and 13-2 Detroit Lions are ahead of them in the standings.
Due to Green Bay’s final placement within the NFC North being set, it is now fairly easy to determine who they will be playing in 2025.
The Green Bay Packers Will Play Their NFC North Division Rivals
As is the case every season, the Packers will play two games against the Vikings, two against the Lions, and two against the Chicago Bears.
Green Bay will face each team once at home and once on the road.

The Green Bay Packers Will Play the Entire AFC North, Plus 1 AFC West Opponent
It has already been announced that the NFC North and AFC North will face each other in 2025. That means the Packers will face the:
- Baltimore Ravens (11-5)
- Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6)
- Cincinnati Bengals (8-8)
- Cleveland Browns (3-13)
The game against the AFC West is the “17th game” of season, and the Packers alternate playing it at home and on the road. They played the Miami Dolphins this year at home, so next season, it will be on the road.
Currently, the AFC West standings are:
- Kansas City Chiefs (15-1)
- Los Angeles Chargers (10-6)
- Denver Broncos (9-7)
- Las Vegas Raiders (4-12)
As the third place team in their division, the Packers will play whichever team finishes third in the AFC West. That, as one can see, will be the Broncos. Even if Los Angeles loses and Denver wins this week, the Chargers hold the tie-breaker, so this matchup is all but set.
Green Bay has not won in Denver since 2007.

The Green Bay Packers Will Play the NFC East and Other Third Place NFC Teams
The other division that the Packers will face in its entirety is the NFC East, which means that they will face the:
- Philadelphia Eagles (13-3)
- Washington Commanders (11-5)
- Dallas Cowboys (7-9)
- New York Giants (3-13)
Currently, the two other third place teams in the NFC are the New Orleans Saints (5-11) and the Arizona Cardinals (7-9). There is a chance that both of these teams could end up in fourth in their divisions, though.

Green Bay Packers Home Opponents in 2025
Based on previous scheduling locks, the Packers’ 2025 home opponents will be:
- Bears
- Lions
- Vikings
- Eagles
- Commanders
- Ravens
- Bengals
- Saints (or Panthers)
The Green Bay Packers Road Opponents in 2025
Based on previous scheduling locks, the Packers will go on the road to face the following teams:
- Bears
- Lions
- Vikings
- Cowboys
- Giants
- Browns
- Steelers
- Broncos
- Cardinals (or the 49ers)
The exact dates for each game have not been announced, nor has it been determined if the Packers will play internationally in 2025.
