Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo switches from green and white jersey to blue and white as he will spend the next few weeks representing Greece national basketball team for EuroBasket 2025.

The Greek Freak has been representing his home country since 2013. He will do it this time with his two other brothers Thanasis and Kostas.

Antetokounmpo is coming another dominant season in the NBA where he finished with 30.4 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 6.5 apg on 60.1 percent shooting. This is the third time he finished the stat and is the only one in NBA history to do it.

His team tragically exited the first round in the hands of the Indiana Pacers. Bucks exited in the first round for the third straight time, leaving a lot of questions to their ability to contend and Giannis’ future.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece in Top 4 teams
Greece reached the quarterfinals of the last Eurobasket edition in 2022 when they were beaten by Germany led by Dennis Schroder.
It was a story of how the Greek Freak did not have much help as led the tournament in most points scored at 29.3 points per game. He was also the most efficient with 32.7 EFFPG.
Antetokounmpo was named to the All-Tournament Team together with Spain’s Willy Hernangómez and Lorenzo Brown, France’s Rudy Gobert, and Schroder.

The 2025 edition will be as exciting as the last one as it will still feature NBA superstars Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets (Serbia) and Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers (Slovenia).
Serbia are the favorites to win it all with championship odds of +175 followed by
(+450) and France (+500) who will be lead by San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.
Greece place fourth on the list with +1000.
