There was never a stated animosity between Chris Paul and Giannis Antetokounmpo but on Friday night after the San Antonio Spurs blew out the Milwaukee Bucks, the two veteran players almost got into it.
The handshake after the Bucks’ 118-144 loss to their hosts got stretched a little after the Greek Freak and CP3 got into a verbal tussle.
“I’m here,” the 6’11 Antetokounmpo was heard saying towards Paul.

The Spurs guard’s response was clearly but it appeared that he is not backing down, taunting the Greek Freak.
The game between the Spurs and the Bucks, which is a rematch of the game two weeks ago, was a close one before the end of the third quarter when the Bucks lost grip of the game.
Antetokounmpo finished with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists. CP3 had 12 points and nine assists.
The biggest story of the night other than the heated exchange between Giannis and CP3 was Victor Wembanya and his dazzling display of unnatural 3-point shooting.
The Alien recorded 30 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and six blocks. At least three of those stuff was against Antetokounmpo.
Giannis Antetokounmpo mad at CP3 for tripping him
Even Thanasis Antetokounmpo jumped in to the bad blood between the two future NBA Hall of Fame member by reposting the iconic Valley Oop, one of the biggest players when the Bucks won the title against CP3’s Phoenix Suns.

But what started all of it?
It turned out to be the moment when Paul tripped Antetokounmpo during a play late in the fourth quarter.
The smaller CP3 was tasked to guard the stronger Greek Freak and he allegedly tripped Bucks star who did not appreciate the act.
Check the video below:

The referees reviewed the play but that did not stop Giannis from confronting CP3.
Giannis Antetokounmpo stuck around on the floor after the game to try to talk to Chris Paul.
Paul stuck around on the floor to talk to Antetokounmpo as well, but there were plenty of people in between and Paul didn’t advance too far towards Antetokounmpo. https://t.co/sJOC9Sp4M8

The Bucks and the Spurs will no longer meet this season. The Bucks will play the Memphis Grizzlies next which is the first of a back-to-back with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
