Green Bay’s success over the past couple of decades had meant that many primetime games have taken place at Lambeau Field. These big games bring big-name broadcasting crews. Erin Andrews is often the sideline reporter for these big games. She and Charissa Thompson host a podcast and they talked about Green Bay this week. Erin Andrews shared her brutally honest thoughts about the city of Green Bay.

Erin Andrews Shares Thoughts On Green Bay
Let’s just say that Erin Andrews is not a fan of the cold. Thompson started a story about how she tried to go for a run in Green Bay and five minutes in had to stop because of the cold. Andrews echoed this and said, “You’re just like, ‘I can’t imagine this be every day of my life living here.” She prefaced this comment by saying that she is not trying to be mean or “s*** on anyone’s hometown”. However, usually, when you have to preface a comment with that, the comment is about to be mean.
The Cold Is Not For Everyone
Some people just can’t handle the cold. Growing up in the midwest means that cold and snow are just a part of life. The cold in Green Bay is also a huge selling point for the networks that broadcast games at Lambeau Field. Announcers talk about “The Frozen Tundra” and chilly nights at Lambeau Field as staples of football in December and January. We just know how to deal with it and the cold doesn’t affect our lives that much. For someone like Andrews who lives in a warmer climate, I guess the cold is too much.
I wouldn’t expect Erin Andrews to buy property anytime soon in Green Bay. She must be happy that Green Bay is having a subpar season so she does not have to do any playoff games at Lambeau in January.
