Ever since a Philadelphia Eagles fan berated a female Green Bay Packers fan on video, his life has gone downhill.
As the Eagles defeated the Packers 22-10 in the playoffs on Sunday, there was an incident at Lincoln Financial Field.
As a result of a viral video showing a vulgar fan interaction at Sunday’s Eagles playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, the fan from Philadelphia has been fired. It didn’t stop there.
After Being Fired, The Disgusting Eagles Fan Who Berated Packers Fan Has Hilarious Job Title Revealed
In the hours following the video’s viral spread, fans discovered that Ryan Caldwell worked for BCT Partners as a project manager:
What is even crazier is that the job is a consulting firm that specializes in DEI services.
Breaking News
Philadelphia fan who was caught in on video verbally abusing a female fan has been fired from his job after he was outed as a business analyst working for a management consultancy that focusses on implementing DEI strategies.
Ryan Caldwell – who used the pronouns ‘they/them’ to describe his employment background – was seen on viral video referring to a female Packers fan as an ‘ugly, dumb c***’.
Fans couldn’t help but point out the irony in his job:
“Hadn’t heard about this one… Alexander Basara wrote in his post on X – prompting other Packers fans to find Caldwell. 👀 GOOD for them! Imagine that, a DEI hire filled with hate and rage. Ryan Caldwell has been canned. BTC Partners tweeted about the firing,” one fan said.
Ryan Caldwell apologized to Keller in an interview with Jenna Lemoncelli of the New York Post. Also, he claims that Basara’s video does not provide the full “context” of their verbal altercation:
“While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia, an incident occurred that I deeply regret. What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.
I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words, and to my wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended.
That said, there are two sides to every story. The video clip circulating online does not reflect the full context of what transpired, and my actions were not without provocation. I will live with this experience, and I am certainly paying a personal price. For those who don’t know me, this incident does not reflect my values or the respect I have for others and is not indicative of the person I am.”
Trying to reach their second NFC Championship Game in three years, Philadelphia will take on the Los Angeles Rams at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. The winner of this semifinal will face the winner of the Detroit Lions-Washington Commanders matchup in the NFC Championship.
