The Green Bay Pacers saw another key starter sustain an injury against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. The Packers were shorthanded against the Saints, ruling out four key starters Sunday morning.
The scoreboard at the start of the game reflected the depth issues on the roster. The Saints were up 14-0 on a slippery Lambeau Field in the early second quarter. And one injury will hurt a defense that’s already missing Jaire Alexander.
Green Bay Packers LB De’Vondre Campbell leaves the game
According to a statement by the Packers, linebacker DeVondre Campbell suffered an ankle injury. Television cameras showed Campbell walking with the Packers staff into the locker room to check on the injury.
