The Denver Nuggets faced the Milwaukee Bucks in another NBA matchup on Wednesday night. Once again, one of the biggest stories in the game was Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic.

He recorded another triple-double with 39 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 127-117 win for the Nuggets over the Bucks. With the win for Denver, they improve to 46-28 on the season. With the loss for the Bucks, they dropped to 40-32 on the season.

Jokic has won the last three of four NBA MVP Award. Even though he is averaging nearly a triple double this season, the odds are that Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to win the award this season because Oklahoma City is going to wind up with the best record in the NBA. Jokic continues to be impressive and there will be those who believe he is the MVP, but it will not be the case this season.
