Earlier this month, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel wiped his social media of all things San Francisco 49ers. This gesture primarily had to do with the contract negotiations with the 49ers… or lack there of. Deebo is trying to get paid like the top wide receivers in the NFL. However contract talks with San Francisco have seemed to stall.
Since Deebo has removed all things 49ers, he’s claiming some fans didn’t take the move well:

We all know that a few bad eggs don’t represent the whole bunch. However this is still a really bad look for 49ers fans and can’t help the Deebo Samuel contract talks.
“Hey for all y’all fans that are in the DMs, death threats and racial stuff. That don’t bother me, bro. It don’t. Y’all the same ones that was just hoorah-ing and ‘Go Deebo,’ and now y’all want to send death threats and send all these racial — all this stuff you got. It don’t bother me, bro. I’m cool. I am chilling. I’m happy.”
If this situation continues to be messy, Deebo could be finding himself a new home next year. Best believe Brian Gutekunst would love to have this type of weapon in Green Bay.
