Cormac Sampson won’t Play this Season. He has decided to not play for Wisconsin his senior year so he can start in his career. “I have graduated this past spring and I felt like for my professional career as an educator I needed to pursue that more fully than having another year in college football,” Sampson said. “It was fully my choice and I’m proud of what I accomplished as a Badger. He will also coach football in Sun Prairie this fall.
Sampson played played in 32 games with the Badgers, including six starts. He’s been a versatile player who lined up at guard, tackle, and center. Which he started as in last seasons Las Vegas Bowl game that the Badgers won over Arizona State.
Although Wisconsin will miss him on the offensive line this season, they gotta be proud of him for knowing what he wants to do. He earned his degree and now he’s going to do what he is passionate about.
