Bucks Tweets of the Week
“A tweet is worth a thousand words.”
Happy All-Star Break! We hope you are having a great week. Hopefully you, like the squad have been able to rest up and get ready for the final stretch run.
Bucks twitter has been “bonkers” lately with the signing of Meyers Leonard and in trying to get the most up to date information on Giannis’s wrist. With only 24 games remaining, fans (and probably the organization) are getting antsy to try to make a NBA Championship run. So, today let’s skim the media landscape for details.

In today’s quick media culture and quick sound bite moments, it can be nice to pause and check out what people are saying about your team. And if your team is repped by “Bango”, things couldn’t have started better. The tweets have been good and entertaining.
Milwaukee ia 41-17 and 1st in the Central Division. Being a fan right now has been pretty great! But what is the rest of the “Twitter-verse” saying? Like it was previously mentioned, Bucks Twitter has been pretty crazy lately.
Milwaukee has a home game Friday against Miami. Check out some thoughts on the schedule here.

Bucks Film Room has some interesting theories about Giannis’s wrist and the signing of Leonard. Maybe the reason this is all such a short contract is because Giannis is healthier than people think.
In reading the tea leaves about Giannis’s wrist, I think it’s a good sign MIL only signed Leonard to a 10-day.
They’ve been in contact w/ him for a year & could’ve signed him at any point since last Th. w/ Giannis seeing a specialist today makes me think he won’t be out long

Jim Owczarski, the jsonline Bucks beat reporter, has some interesting thoughts on how Giannis has transformed the entire franchise. For older fans like myself who remember the “May-Day Connection”, this all has been so exciting to watch. Check it out here.
No one saw this coming.
The arrival of Giannis Antetokounmpo 10 seasons ago transformed the Bucks from afterthought to NBA champs — but there is so, so much more.

What’s Next for the Bucks?
NBA schedule makers have been kind this year to Milwaukee, putting them in spots to succeed (for example, playing a team at home that is on a back-to-back) With MLB baseball on the horizon this week, how are the two Milwaukee teams and leagues alike? The NBA midway point is like the MLB midway point as it runs well beyond the halfway point. (For the NBA the all-star break happens at/around game 59 while the MLB break is usually at/around game 110.) This is the time for NBA teams to put that foot on the gas and get ready for the NBA playoffs in April.
Milwaukee is currently in the midst of a 12 game winning streak. They have had their foot on the gas, big-time! Over the course of an 82 game season, that’s really good. With only 24 games remaining, what is left? What about the schedule? Does it get any easier? Harder? Check it out here.
