Wednesday night is not that enjoyable for Milwaukee Bucks fans after their loss to the Atlanta Hawks but the morning after is surely something to celebrate as news of Khris Middleton’s return has been announced.
ESPN’s Bobby Marks reported that Khash Money, the Bucks’ third scoring option, will be making his debut on Friday against Eastern rivals Boston Celtics.
Bucks writer also released an injury report for the team’s next game with Middleton joining Giannis Antetotokounmpo and Taurean Prince (both due to Right Patella Tendinopathy) as among the probables.
Middleton was initially expected to play at the start of the season after undergoing surgery on his both knees over the summer. However, things took an unexpected turn when it was announced by the organization that he will need more time to recover.
This left the Bucks’ grasping for more offensive weapon, leading to a 2-9 start and calls for restructuring of the squad.
Some analyst pointed to the team’s lack of third option in the offense next to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard who are currently both in the Top 10 scoring this season.
Without Middleton, the Bucks are missing 15.1 points per game. He produced 24.3 points per game in last season’s playoffs.
Fans can’t help but feel excited about the arrival of the reinforcement.

Latest from Doc Rivers on Khris Middleton return
Shams Charania said last week that Middleton could make his debut after the Thanksgiving but the Bucks decided against it.
Coach Doc Rivers explained though that his player is already participating in a 5-on-5 drills.
“We did 5-on-5 scrimmage… he looked great,” he said on Tuesday,
Before the Atlanta game, Rivers also talked about the commitment and desire of Middleton to contribute to the team.
“He’s working his butt off and doing all the stuff he’s supposed to do. He’s just yet to get on the floor. We feel like that’s coming soon, and you’ve heard that before. We’re just hopeful it’s really soon,” he said.
