Brewers veteran Christian Yelich has gone through some ups and downs this season, but over the last week he is riding a hot streak. The 33 year old has a seven game hit streak going where during that stretch he has hit for a .433 batting average, .485 on-base percentage, .967 slugging percentage, has five home runs, and 12 runs batted in.
Putting the last week aside, Yelich has displayed consistency in two areas this year that has put him in elite company. Those two areas are power and speed.
Christian Yelich in elite company with eye-opening 2025 stat

Across major league baseball this year, just nine players have reached or surpassed a threshold of 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases. Yelich currently sits as 12 home runs and 10 stolen bases. The others in this group (with HR/SB followed in parenthesis) are:
- Shohei Ohtani (22/11)
- Corbin Carroll (16/10)
- Pete Crow-Armstrong (15/16)
- Oneil Cruz (12/18)
- Kyle Tucker (12/15)
- Francisco Lindor (12/10)
- Elly De La Cruz (11/17)
- Wyatt Langford (11/10)
Brewers’ Christian Yelich on pace for a massive season

As the Brewers’ current leader in home runs and RBIs, Yelich remains a critical piece of Milwaukee’s offense, especially when it comes to driving in runs. With the lineup lacking other major power threats, Yelich stands alone as the only Brewer currently on pace for a 30-homer, 100-RBI season.
Per Fangraphs, Yelich is on pace to hit 34 home runs and drive in 106 runs this season. Fangraphs has him stealing 28 bases as well, which would put him just shy of the elite 30/30 club. Yelich has been a part of the 30/30 club just once throughout his career, when he hit 44 home runs and stolen 30 bases in 2019.
