CJ Williams Transfers From USC to Join Badgers
Williams only recorded four catches for 34 yards this past year for the Trojans. However, he’s one of the best receivers in the transfer portal.
According to 247 Sports, Williams was the 73rd overall player in the class of 2022. This includes the 10th-best receiver in the class and the sixth-best player in California. According to Greg Biggins of 247, CJ Williams has a player comparison of Keenan Allen. Biggins also describes CJ Williams as a “Smooth pass catcher who can line up at any of the receiver positions”. He also describes Williams as an advanced route runner and a natural pass catcher and a willing blocker.
The Badgers have hit on a ton of transfers over the last month. CJ Williams from USC just might be the best one so far!
