Adams salary expectation:
Raiders are giving Davante Adams a five-year contract, per sources.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 17, 2022
It is being reported that the deal is around 5 years, 141 million. An average salary of 28/yr. Davante Adams’ 20 million dollar franchise tag cap hit is off the Packers’ books. However now the only three wide receivers on the Packers’ roster are Cobb, Lazard, and Amari Rodgers. Expect more moves to come in the future.
UPDATE:
Apparently the Packers were willing to pay Adams…..
Per a source, the Packers we’re willing to pay Adams equally to what the Raiders are with this new deal but Adams preferred to play elsewhere.
Aaron Rodgers was aware of the developments with Adams as they unfolded in recent days.
