The Wisconsin Badgers are in a bad slump. They lost to the visiting Illini 61-51 in what is now their sixth loss in seven games. Once 11-2, the Badgers are now 12-8 and have fallen to 11th in the Big Ten. It has been a frustrating three weeks for Wisconsin. Their losing streak started three weeks ago against this same Illinois team. At the time, Wisconsin was ranked 14th in the country and appeared to be a lock for the Big Ten title. Now, well, things are not looking good, as Badgers fans were quick to point out on social media.
Wisconsin Badgers Fans Do Not Hold Back on Social Media
Understandably, fans of Wisconsin are not pleased with the team’s recent run of poor play.
“I am calling for an immediate cease of operations for all Wisconsin Badgers basketball teams until we can figure out what the hell is going on over there.”

“If Wisconsin played Marquette again next week, Marquette would win by 40. Marquette roster not only far superior, but the quality of coaching is night and day. Shaka back in his element looking like a coaching savant, and Greg Gard is coaching like it’s 1920.”
