Aaron Rodgers has basically seen everything in the NFL with his illustrious, long career. He is entering his 21st season through the Pittsburgh Steelers and as someone who is fastidious when it comes to his team’s offense, looks like there’s something to be excited about his new chapter.

The Green Bay Packers legend has been working closely with head coach Mike Tomlin and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and he thought they got flexible scheme.
“I like his flexibility,” Rodgers said as posted in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
“Arthur is not rigid in what he’s doing. He wants to tailor the scheme to the personnel that he’s got. … We’re trying to find what guys do best and implement that into the offense. I love that about Arthur, so we’re going to keep doing that.”
Rodgers has built a reputation of being strict with his offensive schemes and dynamics with wide receivers.

Steelers made major offseason moves aside from getting A-Rod. They also got high caliber WR DK Metcalf and the two have formed good relationships already through special trainings.
Aaron Rodgers’ vision alignment with Steelers offense
There were questions about Rodgers’ motivation to sign with the Steelers and it did not help that he and the team squeezed every ounce of patience from fans awaiting for them to confirm their agreement.
Tomlin suggests that it was a decision they were firm about since the first rumor broke out. The two parties aligned their vision and Rodgers is sold with the product Steelers tried to sell him.
“Man, he expressed his desires, and they were in alignment with mine, and so those come to Jesus conversations weren’t even necessary,” Tomlin told the Pat McAfee show when asked about his negotiations with Rodgers.

“He’s here and here in a mindset that’s aligned with us. He’s here and here to win a world championship for this group.”
This vision will debut on August 9 when Pittsburgh take on the Jacksonville Jaguars for a pre-season game.
