Aaron Jones is coming off his best fantasy performance since week one with 17.9 points in full PPR leagues. Prior to this performance, Packers head Coach Matt LaFleur said he was going to unleash Jones this week after limited usage due to a hamstring injury. LaFleur was not lying because Jones had 24 rushing attempts and six targets in the air. After getting this volume and finding the endzone it seems like Jones might turn into what Fantasy Owners drafted him to be.

Is Aaron Jones going back to RB1 status?
This is a tough question to answer. Due to Aaron Jones health issues throughout the season, it is hard to give him that title. He is an elite talent and at 28 years old, owners should hope he can stay healthy. After this week though it seems like he is back to what he looked like week one. When healthy Jones will get the volume of an RB1 type fantasy back. So it seems like he will be a low end RB1 fantasy player for the remainder of the season.

Aaron Jones is by far the Most Talented Player on the Packers offense
There is a low chance that Aaron Jones will receive a lack a volume as long as he is fully healthy. The best way to win football games in the NFL is by getting the ball into your best players hand. So why wouldn’t the Packers force feed Jones the ball? When Jones has had looked good and solidified the run game, it has helped take the pressure of Packers quarterback Jordan Love. LaFleur wants to help his young QB as much as he can so getting Jones running hard should be the head coaches top priority. Establishing the run game will hopefully help the Packers get leads in some games which will result in more carries for Jones. It is also known at this point that he won’t have much competition. AJ Dillon has been a major disappointment and it won’t make any sense if he ever out snaps Aaron Jones. Dillon is not a player you need to worry about as he finished last game with only 9 attempts and 6 in the prior week.

Sell High for Aaron Jones
If you are in a position with bad running back play (like a lot of fantasy owners are) then Aaron Jones should be on your radar. Depending on the situation, don’t be afraid to give a decent amount up to get him. Jones upside is too good to pass up. And he has some favorable matchups in the second half of the season like Pittsburg, Carolina, the New York Giants, and Chicago. These type of matchups will make Jones very valuable during the fantasy playoffs. If you have players like Rachaad White, Jakobi Meyers, Davante Adams, and Tony Pollard; you may want to consider using them to get Aaron Jones. You just need to moneter his health because he is limited at practice this week once again.
