The Milwaukee Bucks could look to land some more firepower on offense with this trade move
As the calendar year flips to 2023, the rumors will start to heat up in terms of trades for NBA teams. And the Milwaukee Bucks will be mentioned in a lot of rumors as they look to sure up the rotation for another run at a title.
Sitting with the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee could look to add more firepower on offense. One option the Bucks are being linked to is a forward from a rival team in the Detroit Pistons.
The latest report from Matt Moore of Action Network connects Milwaukee to Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic:
“Another potential target for Milwaukee Bucks: Bojan Bogdanovic from the Detroit Pistons,” wrote Matt Moore of Action Network. “There’s not much feeling that the Pistons are eager to move their best player with Cade Cunningham out, but as the team transitions more towards draft positioning this season Milwaukee will look to bid if the Pistons make Bogdanovic available.”
Bogdanovic is having. big year for the Pistons, averaging 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game this year. He’s shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from the three-point line.
Adding Bogdanovic would be huge for Milwaukee as another scoring threat and might be just what they need to take down a team like Boston or Brooklyn in the East.
However, the price for him could be at least a first-round pick and either a young player or another pick according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.
Bogdanovic is certainly someone to keep an eye on in the trade rumors moving forward.
