The Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin saw WWE SmackDown Live’s signature energy brought to life with an evening of dramatic confrontations, high-risk matches, and undeniable charisma. After a fiery segment with Santos Escobar and El Legado del Fantasma, LA Knight faced an unexpected challenger, making it the evening’s highlight.
As LA Knight made his way to the ring, the unmistakable theme of El Legado del Fantasma hit, signaling trouble. Santos Escobar, flanked by Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, and Elektra Lopez stepped into the spotlight, confronting Knight about his championship reign.
“Me and you, been there, done that, beat ya. But this guy,” he said, pointing to Humberto Carrillo, “I can give you an opportunity of a lifetime.”

Knight’s confidence and sharp-tongued nature led him to dismiss Escobar’s challenge: Knight’s fiery promo did not end there. He made a clever reference to Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is Milwaukee’s local hero.
“Only a couple of nights ago in this building, Giannis scored 59 points. Near luck. Now, I’m not going to score 59 on you, but I will get three the hard way as you get dropped with a BFT.”
Knight added one final verbal jab after the crowd roared in approval.
“So I’ll give you the opportunity of a lifetime and beat you like your daddy. But don’t get excited. The only one that can call me daddy is a girl over here, yeah.” Knight then gestured toward Elektra Lopez, adding, “So while she’s calling me daddy and you’re screaming uncle, I love everybody saying, yeah!”
The Match: Humberto Carrillo vs. LA Knight
Humberto Carrillo, seizing the moment, accepted Knight’s impromptu offer and stepped into the ring for his first-ever singles match for the United States Championship. Despite Carrillo’s athleticism and resilience, the seasoned champion was simply too much.
Knight controlled the pace of the match, methodically wearing down Carrillo with his signature offense. Knight delivered a thunderous BFT (Blunt Force Trauma) that sparked the crowd and secured the pinfall victory to retain his title.
