Class of 2027 quarterback Caden Gutzmer recently shared a message for Wisconsin football and Luke Fickell after a visit with the Badgers.
The Minnetonka, Minnesota native apparently made a trip to Madison and seemed to love the reception he got, as he posted a shout-out to the likes of Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell and Wisconsin director of recruiting Pat Lambert.
Thank you@BadgerFootball for the great game day visit. Always love coming down to Camp Randall. @PatLambert13 @WisFBRecruiting @RecruitTonkaFB @CoachFick @TheRealNickOsen @AllenTrieu, Gutzmer posted on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday.

At the moment, the Badgers have no commitments for 2027, while Gutzmer has not gotten any offers yet. However, according to 247 Sports, he has drawn interests from the NC State Wolfpack, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Northwestern Wildcats.
Wisconsin Football gets a visit from high school QB
Gutzmer did not exactly mention when he visited Wisconsin football but for what it’s worth, the Badgers played their regular-season finale at Camp Randall Stadium on Nov. 29 against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, a game that Wisconsin football lost to the tune of a 24-7 score.
It was a painful loss for the Badgers, to say the least, as that prevented them from reaching six wins. The last time the Badgers won fewer than six wins in a non-Covid year was back in 2001 when the program went 5-7.
