Wisconsin basketball has remained undefeated since the calendar flipped to 2025. Coming off a 116-85 demolition of the Iowa Hawkeyes at home last Friday, the Badgers hit the road and thwarted the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike’s Arena in Piscataway, New Jersey on Monday night via a 75-63 score.
After the game, the Badgers posted the following message on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter:

Wisconsin basketball is gliding of late
Aside from being 2-0 in 2025 to date, the Badgers are also now on a four-game win streak. They have improved to 2-2 in conference play as well after losing their first two Big Ten assignments to the Michigan Wolverines on Dec. 3 and to the Illinois Fighting Illini on Dec. 10.
John Blackwell paced Wisconsin basketball with another sterling offensive performance, scoring 21 points on 8-for-15 shooting from the field with four rebounds and three assists while Steve Crowl produced a double-double of 18 points and 10 boards.
The Badgers will look to sustain their winning form when they return home to Madison to host the Minnesota Golden Gophers this coming Friday before a Jan. 14 meeting with the Ohio State Buckeyes, also at Kohl Center.
