Xavier Amos may not be starting for the Wisconsin Badgers just like he did when he was still with the Northern Illinois Huskies last season but he is having a great time. With UW, he will be able to reach a stage he dreamed of as a college basketball player.

The Badgers’ had a great Big Ten tournament even if they failed to capture the title but they are moving on now to the NCAA March Madness in great spirits.
Amos, who played in all of the 35 games they played this season, transferred to Wisconsin last season as he sought to play in the big stage.
That desire fueled him in giving his best to contributed despite the limited minutes.

“Definitely, like I said it’s been one of my dreams to play in this. It’s a winning program, and we’re gonna be here. We’re gonna do a lot of great things here,” he said in an exclusive interview with 247 Sports.
Xavier Amos’ comfort level with Wisconsin Badgers
The 6’8 forward is playing just around nine minutes this season compared to his 30 minutes per game when he was still with Huskies. Despite the reduced minutes, he insists he is having fun.
He also gave a shoutout to his teammates who he said has been helping him to get better.

“I think all of my teammates, we all push each other at practice and make each other better every day. It was a matter of time, and coaches are always helping us out, giving us pointers and things we need to be better with on the floor.”
Badgers’ campaign this season has been defined by team effort and they will need more of that in NCAA tournament which will start for them on Friday to face the Montana Grizzlies.
