Former Wisconsin Badgers volleyball player Anna Smrek was drafted earlier this year in the second Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) collegiate draft. Per reports, she no longer will be continuing her volleyball career in the United States and rather has signed Internationally.
Anna Smrek was drafted by the Orlando Valkyrie
In late November, Anna Smrek was the Orlando Valkyries’ fourth round pick in the PVF draft. She was one of three Wisconsin Badgers volleyball players to be selected with Devyn Robinson being taken fifth overall and Caroline Crawford 16th overall. Of these three, Smrek is the only one who reportedly will no longer be playing in the PVF.
Former Wisconsin Badgers volleyball player Anna Smrek has signed Internationally (report)
Currently, Anna Smrek is not listed on the 2025 Orlando Valkyrie roster, in which their season begins in early January. Rather, various reports have indicated that she has signed Internationally with Milano. No official confirmation from that team has yet been made, but Smrek’s former coach Kelly Sheffield did also re-share the information on social media.
