Tayshon Bardo is yet to wear the Wisconsin Badgers football uniform but as early as now he is already making an impact on the team – through recruitment.
Three-star wide receiver Zachary Washington posted about his upcoming visit to the Badgers and Bardo, who already committed to the team, jumped in to cheer the Class of 2026 prospect.

Washington posted a reel of Wisconsin Badgers games and fans cheering on. Bardo quoted it and called on the St. Francis Wide receiver to make history with him.

Washington is a 3-star prospect from Wheaton, Illinois. He is being recruited by five other programs.
Among them are the Indiana Hoosiers, West Virginia Mountaineers, Michigan State Spartans, and the Illinois Fighting Illini who are currently being mentored by former Badgers coach Bret Bielema.

The Badgers are among the favorites to land him according to Badgers Wire.
“On3’s recruiting prediction machine lists the Badgers as the early favorite to land Washington’s commitment at 47.6%. They are followed by Miami (OH) (28.2%) and Ole Miss (12.7%).”
Tayshor Bardo already getting comfortable with Badgers
Bardo is definitely bought in to become a Badger. He was recruited by wide receivers coach Jordan Reid by personally visiting him in his house.
He is yet to play for the team but he is already cementing his legacy through constant social media presence promoting the program and forging bond with players and coaches.
In his X account, he posted about his time the campus.

He also said that he is blessed to become part of the Badgers culture.

“Wisconsin is the right fit for me because the brotherhood there is like no other … I’m going to have the opportunity to go in and earn a starting spot as a freshman,” he said as quoted by Badger Blitz’s Jon McNamara.
