The Wisconsin Badgers took down #7 Purdue for their biggest win of the season, 94-84. This was a statement win from the Badgers with a monster second half on the road.
The Badgers are the first team from the Big Ten to win 20 games. Wisconsin’s NCAA Tournament resume could receive a significant boost today.

Badgers shooting guard John Tonje had an absolute masterclass with 32 points on 10/15 FG. The sixth-year senior put on a show in the second half.
He was every bit the catalyst that led the Badgers to a special win at Mackey Arena. Tonje carried the Badgers when they needed his scoring the most to knock off the Boilers on their home floor.

Tonje was getting whatever he wanted, and the guard displayed his dominance on the court. He was hands down the best player on the court today.
The team around Tonje is better this year compared to the team last year, so it makes it easier. Wisconsin really should be a big-time destination for transfer portal recruits based solely on these past two years.
