The Wisconsin Badgers football team had one of their worst seasons this year and things got even worse for them with at least seven players deciding to enter transfer portal.
Not much can be done about it and they are now looking forward and trying to get better next season instead.
The Badgers reportedly made an offer to Sascha Garcia, an All-American from William & Mary Tribe football.
“Blessed to Receive an offer from the University of Wisconsin!,” the player wrote on his X account.
Transaction between the two parties is not yet final. He has been tweeting the offer he’s getting from other programs.
Garcia played 14 games this year and recorded 19 total tackles (14 solo), and 11 pass deflections.
Other programs wanting his signature are Maryland, Western Kentucky, Akron, Eastern Carolina, Cincinnati, Sacramento State, Utah State, and UMass.
Wisconsin Badgers football’s search for cornerback
Garcia can be considered as an urgent recruit for the Badgers because he will address their immediate needs after a failed 2024 season with coach Luke Fickell.

The Badgers have a major need for cornerbacks, as they’ve lost quite a few to the transfer portal this offseason. Thus far, Amare Snowden, Jonas Duclona, Jace Arnold, and Max Lofy have departed via the portal, while Nyzier Fourqurean and RJ Delancy are out of eligibility.
Garcia still has 3 years left so he could be a long-time signing for the Badgers.
Fickell has been very this month for the Badgers.
The team recently just signed 6’7”, 240-pound tight end Tanner Koziol who described his commitment to Wisconsin as a dream.
All the people really made it feel like home. It’s only two hours away from home. Growing up in the Midwest, the Big Ten has always been a dream. The coaches made it feel like a really good situation.
