Wisconsin Badgers, if they play their cards right, might land a stud for the Class of 2026.

Quarterback Travis Burgess has said that he is planning to visit the school soon.
Wisconsin first made their offer to the young man on March 4.
“Wisconsin seems like it has a family atmosphere, so me and my dad are going to sit down tonight and plan a time to take an official visit up there,” he said as quoted in an exclusive report made by John McNamara of Badger Blitz.
Burgess is showing great interest to the team in his latest interviews.
“I’m certainly interested in them,” he said in another interview with Evan Flood.
Burgess is a 6’5 quarterback playing for Grayson High School from Loganville, Georgia. Aside from Wisconsin, he also received offers from Arizona State, Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Duke, and Auburn.
He is the newest quality quarterback to be attached to Wisconsin after 4-Star Brodie McWhorter who is also being chased by multiple schools.
New Wisconsin Badgers QB prospect is dual athlete
Burgess is one of the more athletic high school quarterbacks around.
That is because he is not just a football player but also a hoops stand out.
He is an accomplished player in the gridiron, leading Grayson to a 6A state championship win. He completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,255 yards and 23 scores.
Leadership is something he takes pride in aside from his passing.
He applies that, too, in basketball where he hopes to replicate what his football team accomplished.
“We are ranked in the top 10, I think we are the only team in the country to be ranked in the top 10 in football and basketball,” Burgess stated back in December.
“That shows we are a top tier program in both football and basketball. It shows the work the kids put in on and off the field and against a high level of competition; not everyone can do it. Lower classification is different from 6A to 1A private. The speed of the game is way-way different.”
