Wisconsin Badgers football might land themselves a quality linebacker barring any major development. Mason Marden from the Ladue Horton Watkins high school in St. Louis has expressed interest in the team shortly after his official visit.

What’s one thin that pulled him to Wisconsin? It’s the feel of the city.
“The town, I liked the size of it. It really fits me. I’m not too much into the small cities in my opinion, coming from St. Louis. It’s kinda like home,” he said as quoted by BadgetBlitz.com.
He also shared that he sees Wisconsin and the community as somewhere he could fit in.
“It’s a beautiful city, there’s lakes on both sides, so that’s a really good thing for me because I always enjoy being around the lake. That definitely checked a box. It’s a place I could really fit in.”
A Wisconsin Badgers football insider also revealed that the team is Marden’s ‘leader’ when it comes to choosing a college program.
Wisconsin Badgers’ competition for Mason Marden
Marden, who stands 6’2, will join college by 2026. He is ranked no. 59 linebacker prospect in 247Sports’ rankings and is No. 9 overall prospect from Missouri heading to this new season.
Badgers, who are on a desperate rebuilding, are on the lead but the competition is going to be tough. He currently has around 22 offers.

Among the elite programs waiting for him are Arizona State Sun Devils, Kansas State Wildcats, Purdue Boilermakers, Cincinnati Bearcats, Stanford Cardinal, Louisville Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcats, and Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Marden would be a welcome addition for the Badgers after some of their prospect have decided to sign with rivals Indiana Hoosiers.
