There is some fantasy football hype surrounding former Wisconsin Badgers star running back Braelon Allen. While the New York Jets rookie is not viewed or listed as a starter heading into the 2024 NFL season, there are fantasy football managers who believe that Allen would be a difference-maker at some point this year.
In fact, a lot of these managers have sent private messages to Allen to keep him motivated for the upcoming season.
Allen recently shared a screenshot of a particular message he’s been getting repeatedly getting via Instagram Story.
The message reads:
“We will be perfect in every aspect of the game. You drop a pass, you run a mile. You miss a blocking assignment, you run a mile. You fumble the football, and i will break my foot off in your John Brown hind parts and then you will run a mile. Perfection. Let’s go to work. Go win me that fantasy football title
“Bout the 26th one of these same messages. Make it stop YESTERDAY,” Allen wrote on the post.

Now, if that message sounds familiar, it’s because it’s from an iconic scene in the Remember The Titans movie.
Allen’s production on the field will largely depend on how much action he sees. In front of him on the depth chart is Breece Hall, who has the RB1 role locked down.
Allen could make his NFL regular-season debut on September 9 against the San Francisco 49ers on the road.
Braelon Allen’s career with the Wisconsin Badgers
Before the Jets selected him in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2024 NFL draft, Allen was a major backfield weapon for the Badgers. In three years at Wisconsin, Allen rushed for 3,494 yards and 35 touchdowns on 597 carries for an average of 5.9 yards per rushing attempt.
In 2021, Allen set a freshman record by rushing for at least 100 yards in seven consecutive games.
