Wisconsin Badgers are throwing the gauntlet for their 2027 recruitment with a number of four-star and five-star prospects on the list. The future will look great for them if they get to complete their recruitment of quarterback Chance Thomas who is already feeling good about the program.
Thomas is eligible for the Class of 2027 and is the 14th player in his position to officially receive an offer from the Badgers. He currently plays for the Western High School in Gardena, California and is rated three stars by 247 Sports.
He already made several visits to the school already, including being present at the Bucky’s BBQ event last June.
“What stood out to me most is definitely the city vibe I got from Madison,” Thomas told BadgerNotes.
“I never expected it to be like that. It was a great experience, and I had a great time with the coaching staff and the other recruits at the BBQ.”

Thomas currently has 16 offers and it is expected to rise before he graduates in high school.
Wisconsin, however, might have the edge.
“I went all over the place. I went to Ohio State, Miami, SMU, Mississippi State, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Duke, and UCF as well,” Thomas said in an interview with Nick Osen of Badger247.
“I was really glad that I ended up going to Wisconsin. It was a place that I didn’t even really expect. Like, just the city of Madison in general.”
“Truthfully, Wisconsin is the school that I talk to the most. I like how Coach KG and Ethan hit me about non-football stuff, too, and will just call to check up on me and my family.”
