Three-star prospect Darion Jones put excitement on the hearts of Wisconsin Badgers fans with his latest statements regarding the program.

Jones, a Class of 2026 prospect, is a stand out cornerback from Omaha North High School, received offer from UW-Madison on March 24.
Badgers join at least five programs who are chasing Jones.
Although the competition is stiff, Wisconsin fans can find comfort in the words used by Jones to describe the school during an interview with Badger247. He said he was excited by the offer made.
“It was really exciting,” he said.
“Big Ten school with a rich history. An amazing program with great coaches. I was really excited.”
Among the programs interested on Jones are Iowa State Cyclones, Wyoming Cowboys, Fresno State Bulldogs, and Washington State Cougars. There are at least 11 documented schools who reportedly expressed interest on the 6′ cornerback.

The Badgers have a lot to offer to Jones. He is sold on the team’s history and even the conference they are playing in – the Big Ten.
“It felt really good to get my second Big Ten offer. It’s really important, I love that conference,” he said in another interview with Badger247.

“And I think it is a really great program. The history of the program is amazing, and I heard so much growing up, seeing it for sure, and I just know how great of a program it is.”
Jones is the second cornerback to receive an offer from the Badgers this week. The team recently made an offer to Archbishop Spalding’s Sean Johnson of Class of 2026. He will make his school visit on May.
