On Monday, the Green Bay Packers players decided to speak to the media after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, 22-10 in the wild-card round. With Green Bay losing to Philadelphia, that’s a wrap for them on the NFL season. The Packers finished with an 11-7 record.
One of the major decisions that Green Bay will have to make this offseason is whether or not they will keep cornerback Jaire Alexander for the 2025 NFL season. They could get out of his contract after this season or decide to trade him elsewhere.
Green Bay Packers Cornerback Jaire Alexander Does Not Speak To the Media On Monday
Every year when players clean out their lockers, they usually speak to the media to discuss some things that happened this past season and some things that could happen next year. Jaire Alexander declined to speak to the media on Monday, but he also added that he doesn’t know if he will be in Green Bay next year.
With Alexander being injured for most of the past two seasons, it appears as if the Green Bay Packers will be looking to make upgrades at the cornerback position for next season. Alexander last played on 11/17 against the Chicago Bears and was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury before the playoffs.

It is going to be interesting to see if the Packers trade him or release him. If Green Bay were to release Jaire Alexander, it would be shocking to see him potentially go to an NFC North rival like the Minnesota Vikings. Releasing or trading him this offseason is probably the best business decision for this franchise.
