Thanasis Antetokounmpo may have not been there when Giannis and Khris Middleton started rebuilding the Milwaukee Bucks from the worst team in the league to an NBA contender and an NBA champion but he knows their hard work.

This is why he is emotional, too, with the departure of Middleton who was traded away by the team to the Washington Wizards in an attempt to “win now.”
In his podcast Thanalysis Show, the older Antetokounmpo talked about K-Midd and the time they spent together, including how Giannis sees him more than his family.
“It’s tough man. I miss him already to be honest with you. We’ve been teammates half a decade plus,” he said.

“[He] just so much had to give. And you know, he’s like, I don’t want to say a quiet guy coz everybody thought he is quiet. He’s the exact opposite . . . Khris is not chill.”
Thanasis Antetokounmpo on Giannis Middleton-Khris Middleton relationship, era
Thanasis came to the NBA only in 2014 via the New York Knicks. This means his brother, with whom he is very close to, had one year of intense adjustment.
Middleton was there for him since they arrived at the same time to the Bucks in 2013.
Thanasis recalled the time when the Greek Freak said that he was seeing Middleton more than his family.
“Giannis had this interview. He said like, ‘I spent more time with this guy than my brothers, actual brothers in my family. That’s hard for us since we’re always together and we’re always like so tight and close. You know imagine how we feel about him. You know I get the nature of business/ I’m immune to it.”

He then went on to declare something about the Giannis-Khris era.
“He was one of those guys I never thought was going to see him in another jersey. You miss Khris, as an individual, as a player, what he’s done for the city.
His co-host said the Giannis-Khris era was the best ever in Milwaukee basketball history and Thanasis agreed.
