The Green Bay Packers entering Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings had a chance to improve their seeding in the NFC standings. However, Green Bay lost to Minnesota by a final score of 27-25. With the loss, Green Bay dropped to 11-5 on the season and Minnesota improved to 14-2 on the season.
A lot of Green Bay Packers fans were questioning head coach Matt LaFleur for going it on fourth down in the second quarter instead of kicking a field goal. Green Bay turned the ball over on downs during that drive and that was the drive that probably cost the Packers the football game.
Green Bay Packers Fans Question Head Coach Matt LaFleur After Loss Against the Minnesota Vikings
Anytime the Packers lose, the fanbase sometimes likes to question the head coach. When LaFleur spoke to the media after the game, a lot of fans commented on Twitter about how unhappy they were with him in this game against the Minnesota Vikings. This is what some of the fans said:
He couldn’t get to a Super Bowl with peak Aaron Rodgers. Isn’t getting to one with J. Love. Should be an OC not a HC.

Maybe some reporter should ask him why he never has the Packers prepared for any big games!

MLF has every excuse in the books, he is obviously a very good player caller, even though it didn’t show tonight. But he is not a good leader of men, this team is unbelievably undisciplined and that is all on coaching

Again could’ve won with the 3 points we didn’t take in the redzone lol horrible play calling

Horrible game. Offense look like trash, defense couldn’t stop Helen Keller. PRACTICE DURING THE GAMES WE GO UP ON AND NOT run 3 straight times to punt. LIONS, RAVENS, VIKINGS, BUC, RUN UP THE SCORES, we go up 10 and check out.

Some people believe that LaFleur was out-coached by Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell. There is a great chance that O’Connell is the coach of the year in the NFL this season. Also, the Green Bay Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings twice, the Detroit Lions twice, and also the Philadelphia Eagles. All three of those teams have a better record than the Packers do.
Face the Chicago Bears Next
Green Bay this season is 1-4 in the division and they will face the Chicago Bears in the final week of the regular season. Chicago is 4-12 this season and they have also lost 11 straight games against Green Bay. The Packers will be favored in this game.
The only way the Green Bay Packers could be the sixth seed is if they win and if the Washington Commanders lose to the Dallas Cowboys next week. Otherwise, Green Bay will be the seventh seed for the second consecutive season in the NFC.
