The Green Bay Packers front office has successfully drafted and developed players over the years in the NFL. They are a team known for signing its draft picks to second contracts. Green Bay rarely takes swings at free agents.
During the offseason, general manager Brian Gutekunst made some unorthodox moves in free agency. One person in the Packers front office who also deserves some credit for the success lately is Packers Vice President Of Player Personnel Jon Eric-Sullivan.

It would be a huge loss for the Green Bay Packers organization if they lost Jon Eric-Sullivan to the New York Jets or another team to a general manager job. He has been very important to Brian Gutekunst over the past several seasons. The Jets are looking to find their Joe Douglas replacement, who was fired during the middle of the 2024 NFL season.
