The Green Bay Packers headed on the road this weekend to face the Minnesota Vikings. With a Packers win, they would mess things up for the Vikings in the NFC North standings. However, Minnesota escaped against Green Bay with a 27-25 win.
With the win, the Vikings improved to 14-2 on the season. Green Bay dropped to 11-5 on the season. The Minnesota Vikings will face the Detroit Lions next week on Sunday night football on the road. The winner of that game will be the number one seed in the NFC.
Green Bay Packers Fans Furious With the Loss Against the Minnesota Vikings
Unsurprisingly, the Packers fanbase was upset with losing to the Vikings this weekend. Green Bay got swept in the regular season series by Minnesota and also the Detroit Lions. The Packers also lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. This is what some of the Green Bay Packers fans had to say on Twitter after the loss:
They wanted Lions and Vikes to be the game of the week for viewership refs weren’t going to let us win any NfL for entertainment purposes only

Sat next to some Packers fans at a sports book. They were nice and it was a heckuva game. They won a drawing for a Vikings patio table and gave it to me for being respectful. Both teams played hard. GG @packers.

Hang this one on LaFleur for not taking the early field goal, especially since Minnesota is always in one score games.

Good thing you kicked the field goal on 4th and 3, would be a real shame to have won by 1 with the risk being losing by one score instead of the result, which was losing by one score

Wonder if any Packers see these posts. DO BETTER. Ya’ll going to let the Bears sweep the floor with you. bUt It WaS tHe Vikings! You can have excuses, or you can have results.

Green Bay fans are furious they lost this game against Minnesota. Had the Packers won this game against the Vikings, Detroit would have been able to clinch the NFC North Division crown against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night football, but that will have to wait until next week.
The Packers also lost by two points against the Vikings in the last meeting in Week 4, 30-28. Not having Christian Watson in this game hurt Green Bay’s offense. Jordan Love struggled in this game by completing 19-of-30 passes for 185 yards and one touchdown. The Packers’ defense couldn’t stop Sam Darnold as he completed 33-of-43 passes for 377 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
Green Bay Drops To Seventh Seed With Washington Commanders OT Win
With the Packers losing and the Washington Commanders beating the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 in overtime on Sunday night football, Washington is 11-5 this season and they are now the sixth seed in the NFC. Green Bay drops to the seventh seed in the NFC.
If the Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders win next week, Green Bay will likely face the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the NFC Playoffs. The Packers would be the seventh seed for the second consecutive season. Green Bay defeated the Dallas Cowboys last year in the playoffs before losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

Packers are soft, poor play calling 3 & outs, poor execution, poor defense,no pressure on Darnold , why not blitz. they caught damn near everything! all kinds of pressure on Love!! poor coaching both sides of ball!! W.T.H. is going on out there!!!!
What a shame the refs weren’t calling everything the packers’ way like they have for years. How does it feel being on the other side of that coin?
